Hey,

Thanks for this blog, I was searching for things on Perry Anderson and this was the first thing that came up. Specifically Anderson’s In the Tracks of Historical Materialism, so that’s a little weird but alright I suppose.

I’m at University of Sydney as well, not long from finishing off my PE in undergrad.

All the best.

Hi Simon,

Sorry, I mixed up your name with the American monetary theorist! Fixed now.

To be honest I can't remember exactly where I heard about your book but I got it on inter-library loan from the National Library soon after it was published. It's hard to find, I heard you ran into some trouble with a certain ex Treasury Secretary. I was looking for stuff that carried on the story from Schedvin's history of the central bank to 1975. It's a great book, any plans to bring out a new edition?

Hey Mike,

I came across a reference to myself on your blog (but it's Simon and not Robert) through my book on monetary targeting. Just curious about how you came across my book.

Cheers,
